What Denomination are Quaker Hill's Kids Camps?

Quaker Hill is a Friends (Quaker) camp, but our camps cater to all denominations. We are strongly rooted in Quaker traditions but our campers, staff and guests come from many denominations and backgrounds.

Camp Store

Each cabin will have a designated time to go to the Camp Store. Kids Campers are allowed to spend $1.50 on candy / soda per day, equivalent to 1 candy and 1 soda item (or two candies/two sodas). Campers may also purchase souvenirs during this time, as apparel goods range from $10-50 dollars. Campers are not required to bring or spend money if they do not wish.

Counselors will use envelops with the campers name to collect camper money to mitigate the risk of it being lost or stollen. Unused money will be returned to the camper before departure on the last day of camp.

Can campers bring snacks?

Sending snacks to kids camp is not recommended, as often times campers are unaware of other campers' potentially dangerous food allergies. There will be snacks provided, as well as lots of opportunities for seconds (even thirds!) at meal times. If you are concerned with dietary restrictions, please call our office at (208) 634-2083.
